Insurance Compliance Counsel Alan’s Insurance Compliance Counsel is the expert on members' insurance compliance and consumer protection regulation. The role defines how regulatory obligations translate into Alan's tools, processes, and products, owns the compliance posture on the perimeter, proactively manages exposure, and serves as the primary interface with regulators. What You Will Do Define how regulatory obligations related to Alan’s core product (IDD, duty of advice, product governance, AML/CFT, etc.) translate into operational processes, product design, and tooling. Suggest optimal ways to meet regulatory requirements within Alan's products while improving members' experience – from pricing components and options design to UX choices and complaint handling. Proactively identify compliance risks, assess exposure, and develop mitigating action plans in coordination with internal stakeholders.
