Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate and maintain various types of electronic instruments such as meters, gauges, controllers and transmitters
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and blueprints to understand complex systems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
