Summary The Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) works to promote safety, protect the environment, and conserve resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement. For information about our bureau go to: http://www.bsee.gov/ Responsibilities This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Gulf of America (GOAR), District Field Operations, Lake Jackson District, Well Ops Inspection Unit in Angleton, TX. At the full performance level (GS-12) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Serves as the lead in training and in making recommendations for inspectors. Assists other inspectors as needed on complex inspection issues. 2. Conducts inspections of well operations to ensure compliance with all BSEE and environmental regulations.
