Summary
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to join a leading engineering consulting firm supporting transportation and municipal infrastructure projects throughout the Calgary region. This opportunity is available as either a permanent position or contract, offering a unique blend of field-based construction work during the busy construction season and office-based technical work throughout the winter months.
Working as the Engineer's representative on site, you'll oversee construction activities, monitor contractor performance, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and collaborate with project teams to deliver successful infrastructure projects. During the winter season, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills through cost estimating, tender preparation, drafting, and professional development.
