Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide independent, third‑party quality and quantity assessment of non‑ferrous commodities (concentrates, ores, refined metals) at a single facility. You will ensure that all material handling, weighing, and sampling processes adhere strictly to international standards (ISO/Internal SOPs) and client‑specific contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- In‑Process Inspection: Metal related bulk products at various stages of processing within the plant to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Weight Verification: Supervise weighing operations at the facility’s weighbridge or scales to verify exact cargo quantities for commercial settlement.
- Sealing: Sealing “cargo containers” and keeping an accurate record.
- Monitor: Physical tests, including moisture determination, screen (size) analysis, and density testing, to verify material conformance to standards.
