Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Welder for our operations in Elk Valley, B.C., focused on repairing and maintaining heavy mining equipment. This full-time position features a dynamic 4x4 shift schedule of days and nights.
As a Welder working under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will engage in maintaining and fabricating mining equipment and structures in an industrial environment. Proficiency in FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes is essential. A valid Interprovincial Red Seal Welder Certification and strong safety practices are critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair heavy mining equipment
• Perform structure inspections and preventive maintenance
• Grind and fix cracks in equipment
• Work collaboratively with other trades
