Industrial Millwright
Licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain production and building equipment. Fabrication of machine parts to improve safety and/or machine efficiencies.
Knowledge and Skill
- Must have competent skills and knowledge in pneumatic systems.
- Work safely while performing maintenance functions in manufacturing or processing environments.
- Be competent to operate safely general shop machine and hand tools such as lathes, grinders, and welders.
- Service and maintain hydraulic systems.
- Power transmission components, disassembly and reassembly, and proper techniques for alignment.
- Inspection and repair of centrifugal pumps and valves.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and fluid power schematics for troubleshooting.
- Plan and safely perform rigging and hoisting operations.
