Job Description
Process Optimization & Efficiency Analyze production processes for plastics (e.g., injection molding) and metals (e.g., machining, fabrication, stamping) to identify inefficiencies Develop and implement process improvements to increase throughput and reduce cycle time Design and optimize plant layouts, workflows, and material flow Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Lead and support Lean initiatives such as 5 S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and waste reduction Establish standard work instructions and time studies Drive continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, cost, and quality Cost Analysis & Estimating Conduct labor and cost analysis for new and existing programs Review and update production standards and BOM’s Support quoting processes by developing accurate manufacturing cost models Identify cost-saving opportunities in materials, labor, and processes Production Support Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve process issues Mon...
