Athabasca University's Learning Services Tutorial Department is seeking an Individualized Study Tutor for the following course:

One permanent appointment (0.50 blocks - 16 students)

One temporary appointment (1.00 blocks - 32 students) ending June 30, 2027 

IDRL 308: Occupational Health and Safety: Link to Syllabus 

Qualifications and Experience Required: A minimum of a Master's degree required (PhD preferred) in sociology, labour studies, education, political science or related area. Background in or knowledge of occupational health and safety is desired.

 

The successful candidate will have subject matter expertise and be responsible for providing academic assistance to students, for marking assignments, and for assigning and recording final grades. Teaching experience at a post-secondary level is required. Experience in di...
