Import & Export and Customs Compliance Engineer (Automotive Interior Plastic Parts Manufacturing)
Location: Aguascalientes, Mexico
Scope of Responsibility
Managing import/export operations for two manufacturing plants in Aguascalientes and Puebla
Key Responsibilities
1. Import & Export Operations Management
- Oversee raw material imports, finished product exports, and cross-border transfers for both plants
- Manage temporary imports under the IMMEX program (Decree for the Promotion of the Manufacturing, Maquila, and Export Services Industry), ensuring compliance with Mexican Customs Law and General Foreign Trade Rules (RGCE)
- Monitor the compliant flow of goods under the IMMEX program, ensuring temporary imports are exported or legally disposed of within the specified timeframe
