The Ice Technician is responsible for daily ice resurfacing, preventive maintenance, arena cleanliness, equipment operation, and supporting venue conversions.
This role ensures that all ice sheets and facility conditions meet the performance and cleanliness standards as well as safety expectations of community programming, high‑performance training, national team camps, competitions, and special events.
What you will be doing:
Ice Surface Preparation and Maintenance
- Conduct resurfacing on the ice using the Olympia, ensuring the highest standard ice conditions.
- Perform daily edging, chipping, scraping, flooding, and patch repairs.
- Monitor and maintain proper ice temperature, humidity, and refrigeration settings.
