Job Description
An early?career hydrodynamic study and CFD expert in the marine propeller development domain is expected to possess strong foundational skills in computational fluid dynamics, with practical exposure to industry?standard simulation tools such as ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS CFX. These platforms are widely used for steady and transient hydrodynamic analyses, rotating machinery simulations, cavitation prediction, and performance evaluation of marine propellers.
Candidates should be comfortable setting up and post?processing simulations involving turbulence modelling, moving reference frames, and transient rotor–stator interactions. Comfortable knowledge of multiphase flow simulations for cavitation is a core requirement. Understanding and modelling air–water interaction and free?surface is highly valued for resistance studies. Exposure to multi?domain or multi-physics simulations such as coupling fluid flow with structural response (FSI), or t...
