Summary This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. Responsibilities As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) at the GS-0201-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as a senior subject-matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations on critical HR programs to senior executives and commanders throughout the Department of War (DoW). Develop and implement DoW-wide policy and program guidance related to compensation, recruitment, and placement in response to emerging or critical issues. Analyze and propose legislative or regulatory recommendations that modify how the DoW conducts its HR programs and evaluate the impact of new legislation on existing programs. Lead and execute special DoW-level projects, delivering oral and written presentations on findings and recommendations to senior officials and external agencies.
