Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) in the Fleet Human Resources Office Norfolk Naval Shipyard of FLEET HRO NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will prepare and/or review position and job descriptions, conduct desk audits, write reports of findings, provide classification training and prepare evaluations. You will prepare responses to external program review findings and recommendations regarding sensitive issues. You will locate, interpret, analyze, and apply Position Classification Standards and Guides. You will develop, modify, conduct, and/or oversee the presentation of formal training in classification, position management, and desk audits. You will provide guidance and instruction to managers and junior specialists unfamiliar with complex classification issues.
