Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) in the Civilian Human Resources Office of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities You will determine the correct classification of positions by comparison to appropriate position classification standards and other reference material related to the work and prepare necessary evaluation statements. You will apply a thorough understating of classification principles and concepts to select, interpret and apply classification standards and guides to secure sound decisions on the classification of positions. You will make determinations in the proper crediting of factor levels and ultimate allocation of grade levels to positions; communicate grade distinctions to management with supporting criteria and justification.
