Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day HR operations and labor relations for the assigned workforce, ensuring strict compliance with internal regulations, benefits delivery, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to foster a positive workplace climate and prevent labor disputes.
  • Manage unionized staff headcount/workforce (HC: 500 FTEs)
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of the department's personnel.
  • Monitor turnover and absenteeism metrics, and generate reports to be published by the communications lead.
  • Address employee needs and provide solutions in alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Administer the Internal Work Regulations and the Collective Bargaining Agreement to prevent labor disputes.
  • Follow up on temporary contracts for newly hired personnel.
  • Manage general conditions like transportation and canteen services, ensuring they meet quality standards and remain cost-effective.
