Human Resource Benefits Specialist
Position Details:
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and communicate benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, FMLA, FSA, Workers’ Compensation, and life insurance
- Process and track Workers’ Compensation, disability, FMLA, and leave of absence claims
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city labor laws
- Maintain OSHA compliance by recording and monitoring workplace injuries
- Coordinate and manage the open enrollment process
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefits-related issues
- Act as liaison between employees, insurance carriers, and union representatives
- Process claims in accordance with provider contracts
