Job Description
Contribute to the Cree Nation's culture as a Human Resources Advisor at WEDC in Eastmain. Support HR operations, health and safety, and payroll for nearly 150 employees.
WEDC is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to assist management and staff in all HR aspects. This includes workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and enhancing HR practices. You will play a vital role in health and safety initiatives and payroll management within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Support HR operations and organizational development
ā¢ Manage health and safety initiatives and programs
ā¢ Oversee payroll and employee benefits administration
ā¢ Assist in workforce planning and talent management
ā¢ Ensure compliance with HR regulations and best practices
Requirements:
ā¢ CPHR-accredited HR certificate or related Bachelor degree
ā¢ 2+ years of administrative work experience
