Job Description

The Hotel Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio, video, lighting, and conferencing equipment for meetings, banquets, and events. This role ensures smooth and high-quality technical execution while coordinating client AV requirements in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). The technician also maintains AV equipment and works to deliver excellent customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in audio systems (mixers, microphones), video systems (projectors, LED walls), and video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams).
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and resolve technical issues under pressure.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and hotel staff.
