Job Description
Step into a pivotal role as an Associate Electrical Engineer with Black & Veatch, specializing in high-voltage substations. This hybrid role involves complex projects that integrate renewable resources and improve existing designs.
Based in Markham, ON, or Calgary, AB, you will assist in all phases of substations up to 765 kV, from engineering design to collaboration with vendors and clients. Responsibilities include creating protection and control designs, preparing technical specifications, and conducting QA/QC processes, with a strong emphasis on quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering designs for high-voltage substations
• Prepare and manage design deliverables and technical calculations
• Maintain compliance with engineering standards and project budgets
