Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Basic Salary: £17.00 to £20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp to perm
Job Description:
Our client specialises in transporting large and small plant machinery across the UK. The role involves delivering and collecting plant equipment using a fleet of specialist vehicles, including low-loaders, flatbeds, rigids, 7.5-tonne vehicles, vans, HGV Class 1, and HGV Class 2 vehicles.
This is a physically demanding role requiring drivers to assist with loading, securing, and unloading equipment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Early start times from 04:00.
* Monday to Friday operation, with occasional Saturday work.
* Mixture of London-based and nationwide deliveries.
* Minimum 10 hours guaranteed per shift.
* Occasional nights out may be required.
