Staffline is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our clients' Food Distribution site based in Magna Park, Lutterworth. Average hours 12 hours per shift. Normally, one store per run + collection, some long-distance deliveries. Some store required pallet back door into store delivery. Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly) The rate of pay is: - Weekdays £17.29 per hour - Saturday £20.02 per hour - Sunday £21.84 per hour Ad hoc work available with various start times, including weekends if available. Your Time at Work As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for: - Trunking, general haulage and store deliveries - Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness - Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipmen...
