Heavy Equipment Technician, Highway Maintenance

Ledcor Highways is hiring Heavy Equipment Technicians for our Highway Maintenance team in various locations across Alberta. This role involves performing maintenance and repair on heavy construction and maintenance equipment (plow and sanding trucks, loaders, light support gear) to keep community roads safe.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of plows, sanding trucks, loaders, light support gear, and other heavy construction equipment.
• Conduct CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Attend service calls in the field as required.
• Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures.
• Engage in Ledcor safety policies and procedures.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (On‑Road & Off Road) or a registered Apprentice.
