Job Description
Heavy Duty Mechanic (Rotation 14/7)
Prince Rupert, BC – Project based rotational role supporting major marine and infrastructure projects.
- Rotation: 14 days on / 7 days off
- Shift: 10‑hour days
- Location: Prince Rupert, BC
- Term: Through December 2026, possible extension
- Accommodation & Travel: Fully covered
What You’ll Do
- Repairing, troubleshooting, overhauling, and maintaining heavy‑duty mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
- Working extensively on crawler cranes, including Manitowoc, Liebherr, and Kobelco
- Diagnosing faults and malfunctions using computerized and other advanced testing equipment
- Reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and diagrams
- Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective components using hand and power tools
