Job Description
Pursuit is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to ensure our fleet's reliability in Alberta. Your expertise in bus maintenance and repair will be vital to our operations.
This role is crucial for maintaining Brewster Equipment at Pursuit. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot various bus systems. Collaborating with the Shop Foreman, you will also assist in training apprentice mechanics and support team efforts throughout the busy season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow safety procedures diligently during maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair bus equipment and electrical systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections regularly
• Maintain detailed records of work orders and repairs
• Train and support apprentice mechanics effectively
Requirements:
• Journeyman certification in Heavy Duty Mechanics
• At least one year of experience with buses
• Expertise in Detroit Diesel, CAT, Cummin...
