Position Overview
Finning is seeking a dedicated Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic in Swift Current to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment in both shop and field environments, including remote locations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CAT equipment.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment.
- Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
- Provide work support with reference to on‑site safety requirements.
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment.
Qualifications
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract (Field roles).
- Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Emissions systems.
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience.
