Position Overview
The Diesel & CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Equipment Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment powered by diesel and CNG engines. This position ensures that fleet vehicles and machinery operate safely and efficiently, supporting the organization's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and scheduled service on diesel and CNG vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair and replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and maintenance performed.
