Health & Safety Superintendent
Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.
We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Superintendent. This permanent and full time position is based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.
The Opportunity
- Leads safe work practices by ensuring safe work conditions, proactively supporting safe implementation of projects and works throughout the Atlantic Operations.
- Directs day-to-day activities of the Safety Advisors. Coaching Safety Advisors, management and employees on good health and safety practices.
- Responsible for ensuring all health and safety programs, training and reporting is up to date for both internal and external regulatory programs. This includes but is not...
