Job Description
A UK based software dev house is scaling its Cape Town engineering hub and needs a Head of Engineering to run it.
The team is about 10 engineers today, heading toward 40 over time. You'd own the Cape Town engineering hub end to end. You'd build the leadership layer under you, grow it into multiple squads, and set how the team works.
Is this you?
- Technical leader who still ships : Engineering manager or team lead right now, that’s still shipping to prod. Strong Full stack .NET/React/JS, cloud-native thinking, able to go deep on reliability and cost trade-offs
- Builder of teams : Hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance, and building a system that scales
- Credible operator : Client-facing, clear communicator, calm under pressure, can push back without drama
