This is a hands-on leadership role for a guide who combines exceptional field knowledge with genuine mentorship ability; the lodge places equal weight on character, attitude and long-term commitment as it does on technical experience. Core Criteria: FGASA Level 2 or 3 qualification (Trails Guide qualification advantageous) Extensive experience guiding in a Big Five reserve Proven experience managing or mentoring a guiding and tracking team Valid PrDP and rifle competency for dangerous game Strong knowledge of local flora, fauna and ecosystems Excellent guest engagement and storytelling ability Strong leadership, training and team management skills Willingness to learn and grow within the operation Genuine passion for luxury hospitality and conservation Strong character, cultural fit and a long-term outlook Core Responsibilities: Lead and manage the guiding and tracking team Conduct game drives and guided bush walks to a high standard Oversee guest safety protocols and field procedures ...
