Job Description
We are looking for a Head Dresser (Head of Wardrobe Running) to supervise, coordinate, and maintain a safe environment for onstage productions and backstage operations of Theatre Calgary, primarily at Max Bell Theatre.
The Head Dresser reports directly to the Production Manager and Technical Director. The candidate should have excellent technical and communication skills, be part of a dynamic team, and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, according to production schedule.
We are a certified Union House with IATSE Local 212 and will require the successful candidate to be a member in good standing or be ready to join as a full member. Theatre Calgary is a Category “A” venue with CAEA, a signatory to the Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA), and a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT).
