About the role Social Goods is a modern all-day bakery & café — French viennoiserie meets local heritage, wrapped in an art, lifestyle and community concept. Born in Central, Hong Kong, we are now opening in Manila with a multi-store rollout ahead.
We are hiring a Head Baker to own all bakery production for the flagship opening and to build the craft and the team that will scale across every Manila store.
What you'll do
Own daily production of the full range — laminated pastries and Danish, viennoiserie, top-end artisan sourdough and breads, tarts, and signature items.
Set and hold the standard — quality, consistency, and presentation on every batch, at a premium level.
Lead a team of 5–8 bakers and commis: train, schedule, and build a culture of craft and discipline.
Run the production kitchen — mise en place, baking and fermentation schedules, proofing, ovens, and equipment upkeep.
