Job Description

• Research and propose alternative parts with effective solutions to avoid major software & product calibration, hardware topology changes when replacing EOL parts in NI products.
• Implement and simulate designs through CAD and synthesis tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics).
• Verify and validate redesign hardware, debugging any arising issues.
• Perform failure analysis to root‑cause failures during early VnV and MFG builds.
• Integrate DFM inputs from MFG to improve product yield and quality.
• Diagnose and debug technical challenges when products interact or integrate with other NI products.
• Design mock‑up PoC prototypes to strengthen redesign proposals for domain‑leader approval.
• Apply RCA techniques and use fish‑bone diagrams to narrow down actual root causes.
• Create debug guides, tools, and training for MFG technicians and Failure Analysis engineers.
