Job Description

The Guest Attendant is responsible for reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness or designated clinical leadership team member. They are to assist with personal care tasks in accordance with residents’ plan of care and, which are within their knowledge and skill, while adhering to regulatory and Extendicare’s standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• To adhere to the plan of care as determined by the supervisor
• To establish and maintain harmonious relationships with residents, their families and employees
• To support and provide one-on-one care as needed
• To provide day-to-day services and support to individual residents, ensuring comfort and well-being
• To support safe lifts and transfers of residents
