Job Description
I. OBJECTIVE
Plan, direct and coordinate the tasks of subordinate supervisors and staff members to carry out the planned production requirements in terms of quality, delivery, and costs through line planning, capacity, and labor. Recommend improvements and modifications to the organization’s structure, procedures, policies, standards, specifications, and methods and processes to enhance productivity.
II. MAIN FUNCTIONS- Direct the manufacturing and testing of products according to engineering specifications to cost-effectively meet projected quantities and specified product quality.
- Maintain the required level of productivity through trained personnel, production methods, and well-maintained equipment and work areas.
- Investigate quality, efficiency, labor methods, materials, and other related issues. Identify causes, analyze solutions, and implement corrective actions when appropriate.
