Job Description
Do you love working on vehicles or GSE? What about working around airplanes? Well, Executive Aviation is looking for a full‑time Automotive Technician to work on our Ground Service Equipment, based at the Saskatoon Airport.
This person would enjoy working independently, but reporting remotely to the Shop Foremen. They would coordinate and complete all PMI objectives as well as prioritizing, diagnosing, and fixing GSE or vehicle repairs for the base, or other bases as needed. This person would be expected to travel for PMI or maintenance repairs to bases in our network and have on‑call responsibilities.
The Role
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all systems associated with work equipment (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic)
- Evaluate parts for reuse, repair or replacement
- Use various hand and power tools
- Operate equipment such as overhead or mobile cranes and forklifts to assist in assignments
