Grooming Operator Grade 1
Reports To: Grooming/Snowmaking Supervisor and/or Assistant Grooming Supervisor(s)
Position Overview
Grade 1 Grooming Operators work as part of the Mountain Operations team. They are considered entry‑level snowcat operators and are responsible for safe and efficient operation of a Prinoth snowcat to help maintain the slopes under the direction of the Grooming & Snowmaking Supervisor and/or Assistant Grooming Supervisor(s).
Grade 1 Grooming Operator candidates will receive internal training (both online and experiential) and will receive on‑the‑job training from mentors within the department.
The incumbent should expect to be working outside in any, all and sometimes adverse weather conditions and must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
