Day in the Life
The Grinding Superintendent is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all milling (grinding) operations for Miller projects. This is a handsβon field leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge of milling equipment, the ability to lead and hold crews accountable, and a proactive approach to planning, productivity, and safety. The Superintendent ensures grinding work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Client specifications
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute milling operations in alignment with project schedules, drawings, and Client requirements
- Get operations started effectively through advanced planning of manpower, equipment, trucking, and sequencing
