Job Description
Responsibilities
- Reports and works under the supervision of the Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Engineer and Workshare Manager.
- Ensures that he/she understands the Project Brief and design requirements; raises Technical Queries and Requests for information to ensure design information is complete and unambiguous.
- Drafts/prepares/self-checks, studies specification, reports, design calculations and structural details/sketches in accordance with the project requirements including stability checks and compliance to appropriate codes.
- Ensures that the designs are correctly interpreted and represented on the drawings.
- Provide drawings/sketches for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Technicians.
- Ensure markups are delivered to the drafting team in a timely manner.
- Reviews/incorporates comments of Design Checker.
