Position Summary Under the direction of the licensed staff member, the GI Technician gives non-licensed, technical bedside care as a member of the Team. The GI Tech also performs some daily housekeeping and transport duties in the GI Unit. Education High School Diploma Education - Preferred Experience 1 Year CNA - Preferred Previous acute care experience preferred. Previous endoscopy experience preferred. License & Certification Certification encouraged when eligible. Core Job Functions Patients are escorted from reception area and assistance provided with dressing and undressing. Complete set of vitals obtained and comfort and safety is provided. Warm blankets offered and patient privacy is maintained.
