:Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Services Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Conducting daily inspections of general conditions for pit and waste dump slopes;
Generate technical reports as required;
Generate and update SOPs associated with ground control as required;
Inspect and sign off on wall compliance and slope design;
Prepare weekly ground control plans, monthly hazard maps, risk analysis and risk mitigation;
Collection and compilation of geotechnical data via mapping, photogrammetry, core logging, and visual observation;
Perform wall and bench reconciliation and wall control blast performance assessment;
