Job Description
Our client is a leading multinational coal mining company primarily involved in coal mining operations in Kalimantan Utara.
About the role:
To ensure safe, stable, and cost-effective mining operations by managing all geotechnical aspects including slope design, ground control, monitoring, and risk mitigation in compliance with Indonesian mining regulations and company safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations to characterize soil and rock properties, material behavior, geological structures, and groundwater assessment, including supervision of drilling, logging, and
sampling activities. - Analyze rock mass characteristics, geological structures, and subsurface conditions using accepted classification systems (RMR, GSI, SMR).
