Specific Responsibilities
The Geophysical Advisor for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Geoscience team within our Egypt Asset at the company’s Cairo, Egypt office and assigned to the KPC joint venture exploration team. This position will report to the Director of Geophysics.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Identify exploration opportunities and fully characterize prospect risks and resource potential
• Mature exploration well proposals by preparing structure maps of all reservoirs, integrating seismic data and appropriate derivatives with all well control
• Provide geophysical support for efficient exploration drilling design and safe drilling operations
• Assist in post-drill lookbacks on all wells
