Job Description
Title: Technology Specialist Developer (GIS)
Duration: 12 months (Aug 2026 - Aug 2027)
Location: Brampton, ON
Salary: $90-$95 per hour (based on experience)
Assignment Type: 2 days onsite
The Technology Specialist/Developer (GIS) will be responsible for the migration, re-build, testing and production-readiness of a portfolio of business applications currently residing in Esri's ArcGIS Online SaaS environment, and moving to Peel Region's ArcGIS Enterprise (v11.5) portal platform. These activities will substantially contribute to the 100% decommissioning of Amazon Web Services GIS Platform upon completion of the migration work.
Mandatory Certification:
- BA or BSc in Computer Science or Geography (Proof of Certifications must be submitted with bid submission)
- Advanced Diploma in Application Development or GIS (Proof of Certifications must be submitted with bid submission)
