Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Geodetic Engineer.
Job Summary
The role conducts field surveys and prepares plans and technical descriptions for verification, subdivision or consolidation of company properties and/or private lands for exchange, lease or purchase by the company, and provides technical opinion and suggestions on documents of existing properties as well as on those for acquisition. Other responsibilities include:
- Conducting geodetic and topographic surveys with the assistance of a survey party to locate land monuments and verify boundaries or property lines, and ascertain areas, shape and other technical data of land to be purchased or leased by the Company
- Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
