Job Description
Job Title: General Supervisor
Location: Germiston
The General Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities within the steel service centre, ensuring efficient operations, quality output, and compliance with health and safety standards. Experience with Hi-Def plasma cutting, laser cutting, and bending operations will be highly beneficial to ensure smooth workflow and technical support on the shop floor.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a steel service centre or steel processing environment.
- 2–3 years supervisory experience.
- Practical exposure to: hi-def plasma cutting, laser cutting, bending / press brake operations (beneficial).
- Grade 12 (Matric) – essential.
- Trade qualification (Boilermaker, Fitter & Turner, or similar) – advantageous.
