About First Step

First Step is an independent multidisciplinary primary health service providing integrated mental health and substance misuse care in a truly collaborative setting. Our team includes GPs, psychologists, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialist, mental health nurses, care coordinators, abstinence-based program and legal service, working together to support people with complex mental health and psychosocial needs.  

The Role

We are seeking a General Practitioner with a special interest in mental health or Medicare recognised mental health training credentials to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This is an opportunity to deliver holistic, trauma-informed care alongside a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team, with meaningful clinical work.
