Role and Facility Information
The Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a 273‑bed tertiary referral centre serving approximately 250,000 people. It provides 24‑hour Emergency and Trauma Services, Outpatient Clinics, Diagnostic Services, and a comprehensive array of specialty services including Acute Inpatient Psychiatry, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Gastroenterology and more. RIH also hosts specialty laboratories such as a Clinical Neurophysiology Lab, Sleep Lab, 1.5T MRI, CT scan, Echocardiography, and provincial Tertiary Neuropsychiatry Programs.
