The Laborer's job is to clean the plant and perform cleaning duties wherever and whenever necessary. The responsibilities encompass the entire plant.
- Operate under direction of plant supervision
- Obtain directives from Shift Supervisor
- Assist with non-mechanical duties such as screen installation
- Follow lockout procedures
- Obtain, use and maintain PPE
- Obtain, use and maintain assigned Tool Kit
- Ensure work area is safe and free of debris
- Ensure that all guards are in place in the immediate work area
- Work will be performed as per supervisor’s instructions
- Assist plant personnel when needed (e.g. short-staffed on production)
- Responsible for putting away all tools used
- Report any dust emissions as well as all fluid spills or leaks
- Know, understand and follow Plant Lockout procedures
