Job Description
Campbell River Hospital is seeking two General Internists to enhance our Department of Medicine. Join a supportive team of eight in providing comprehensive care to our busy 105-bed community hospital.
This role involves consultant care, shared on-call responsibilities, and equal participation in cardiodiagnostics. Internists are encouraged to engage in outpatient care and can also have an interest in liver diseases at a multidisciplinary clinic. The successful candidates will hold FRCPC in General Internal Medicine and possess full licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultant General Internal Medicine care
• Share equally in cardiodiagnostics like ECG and holter readings
• Participate in a community-based outpatient clinic
• Engage in call schedule of 1:5 to 1:7
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary liver disease clinic
